4 Keys to Achieving Your Golf Goals
- Write out your golf goals in a note on your phone. It is crucial to keep your notes in a place where you can quickly review them on a regular basis. If you need help determining the right goals for your game, check out our guide here.
- Map out an action plan to achieve each goal. How are you going to reach each of your goals? What resources will you need to help you on your journey?
- Determine an accountability plan. Not many players are diligent enough to hold themselves accountable. Every golf season has ups and downs. Who will support and encourage you when you need that push to get back out to practice?
- Get to work. You will undoubtedly need to put in some hustle to reach your goals. Figure out how to enjoy the journey and learn how to make practice fun.

As you can see from JT's goals, a tour player's goals are often heavily stat oriented.
Why? A single shot shaved per round can be worth $1 million per year.
While we bet a single shot might not have this monetary value for you, we do recommend including stat oriented goals in your own personal golf goals.
