Find any athlete at the top of their game and you are almost surely going to find someone with an intense work ethic.

MJ is legendary for his work ethic - teammates often recount how Jordan competed just as hard in practice as he did in actual games. (For the record, Jordan now puts this same energy into his own golf game.)

Hurricane Putting Drill [20 minutes]

With 5 balls, place one at 2', 3', 4', 5' and 6' in a Hurricane pattern around the cup (see video for details). Attempt to make each putt.

Do this exercise 8 times for a total of 40 putts. How many can you make? Record your score in the comments so we can compare future results.

This exercise is great because each ball will have a different break and require different weight from a speed perspective.

Lag Work [8 minutes]

With 3 balls, place them at 30', 40' and 50'. Try to lag each to within 2' of the hole. For bonus points, try to get each one to the hole!

Do this exercise 5 times for a total of 15 putts.

Chipping Work [25 minutes]

Hit 5 shots out of the rough for the following distances in yards:

15
20
25
30

Do this circuit 2 times for a total of 50 shots.

Track how many times you get the ball within 5 feet of the hole!

Pressure Short Game Work [9 minutes]

You got three holes left in a career low round.
You miss the green on each of the three holes.
Place a ball in each of the three locations and putt out:

20 yard chip shot out of rough
15 yard bunker shot
25 yard bump and run shot

Can you get it down in a total of 8 shots in order to shoot a career low? How about 7 shots? Note your score in the notes.
