Target Challenge Practice Session [45 min]

Full Swing Warm Up [12 min]

Every great player has a consistent warm up routine that they use ahead of a round. Let's dial that in during practice ahead of getting to it today.

A suggested warm up pattern is outlined below:

  • 3 50% Pitching Wedges
  • 3 Full Pitching Wedges - aim to specific target that varies with each shot
  • 3 Full 8 Irons - aim to specific target that varies with each shot
  • 3 Full 5 Irons - aim to specific target that varies with each shot
  • 3 Fairway Woods - aim to a specific 15 yard fairway
  • 3 Drivers - aim to a specific 15 yard fairway
Target Challenge [30 min]

Challenges are a great way to keep your practice fun and engaging. They also put pressure on each shot to try to simulate the feeling of being out on the course.

For this challenge you need to hit each of your clubs in ascending order (13 in total from wedge to driver) into a 15 yard wide target. Once you hit the target, move onto the next club.

SCORING: You have 40 balls to work through your bag. How many shots will it take you? If you get through the challenge in under 40 balls, keep going back through your bag as far as you can a second and even a third time.

Weak Link Work [3 min]

What was the weak link in the target practice challenge from today? To complete today's session, hit 5 shots to try to improve your weak link.
